Applying to an Internship

You should approach an internship application as you would a job application. Try to use your networks (school counseling center, student organizations, local companies) to find internships, shadow days or student programs that will allow you to learn about a job and build connections. Participating in internships gives you a chance to explore real careers before you have to make big decisions about your future.
